Work Experience

Lintaman Cycling Shoes, Taichung City, Taiwan
Industrial Designer | 2015 - present
At Lintaman I bring cycling shoe constructions never seen before to reality through persistant research, prototyping, and testing. The process involves sketching, pattern-making, machine sewing, and last but not least, rounding out the product with polished graphics and packaging. Along the way I explain our design intent to manufacturers, suppliers, and customers, often providing English and Chinese translation for my employer.

Microtex/Manhattan Kids, New York City, New York
Junior Designer | 2014
I created patterns for both adult's and children's textiles based on thoroughly researched color and style trends. These were accompanied by refreshed packaging and branding for several of the company's product lines. I also communicated with factories directly to guide them during production and met with clients to discuss and develop new pattern ideas.

Provided sketching ideations and prototyping for an innovative mechanical tea diffuser and double-walled glass cup, met with clients to understand their needs and limitations, rendered CAD models for the company's portfolio, created promotional videos and graphics for products, and maintained the company website.

Pega Design and Engineering, Taipei, Taiwan
